I am Veronica, the principal landscape designer at Keucke. Originally established as a fashion label in 2002, Keucke has since evolved into a landscape design studio as my creative focus moved from cloth to spatial design, gardens, and the natural world.

My role as a designer is to find a unique and harmonious balance between functionality, sensitivity to place, and natural beauty. I approach each project with curiosity and creativity, exploring ideas that maximise potential while meeting client’s needs.

The colour palettes, compositions, and beauty of the New Zealand landscape are a constant source of inspiration for me. They guide a planting philosophy that values biodiversity and resilience, combining natives, exotics, and food plants to create gardens that feel abundant and allow a natural sense of order to emerge.

Each garden I design is a living, evolving experience. It’s about fostering a strong sense of place and building a connection between the land, the architecture, and the people who use it.
