What do we do?
We work across a range of projects, from early site planning through to design, planting and detailed documentation, and are always open to jumping in at whatever stage you’re at. That said, we love being involved early, when key decisions around house placement, levels, and orientation can be properly considered. It’s often at this stage that opportunities are either unlocked or missed, and a bit of thought toward how indoor and outdoor spaces connect can make a huge difference. Our approach is flexible and collaborative, with a focus on creating spaces that feel well resolved, easy to live in, and grounded in their setting.
Site Plan
A Site Plan considers the placement of your home within the land, responding to topography, aspect, and surrounding context to create a well-balanced and functional layout. It works to position the house, define finished levels, and organise access, outdoor areas, and services in a way that maximises outlook, sun, shelter, and key site features. The result is a clear framework that supports both the architecture and landscape, setting the foundation for a cohesive and well-resolved project. It can be developed alongside your architectural plans or used to guide early design decisions, helping to unlock the full potential of your site.
The Process…
A Site Plan begins with an on-site consultation or review of survey and architectural information to understand the land, constraints, and opportunities. We discuss how you want to live on the site, including priorities around outlook, privacy, access, and outdoor spaces. From there, a brief, proposal, and project fee are prepared.
The design process focuses on exploring layout options, including house position, levels, and site organisation. These are reviewed together and refined before the final Site Plan is developed, clearly outlining placement, levels, and spatial relationships across the site. The completed plan is presented in person, with a digital version provided after any final adjustments.
Priced between $1000 and $4000 depending on size and complexity
Technical Plans
May be required to provide the detailed documentation to move your project from design into construction and approval. They provide accurate drawings for site setout, resource consent, and council submissions, including pool documentation where required.
This layer also covers tailored built elements and detailed drawings, ensuring levels, dimensions, and construction methods are clearly resolved. The result is a coordinated set of documents that support builders, contractors, and consultants, reducing uncertainty and allowing the project to be delivered as intended

Landscape Plan
A Landscape Plan responds to your site, context, and desired outcome, bringing these together in a considered design that maximises site potential, supports outdoor living, and creates easy, natural movement with strong indoor–outdoor flow. It can be developed for an existing site or alongside your architectural plans, and implemented in stages to suit your budget, adding lasting value to your home.

Planting Plan
A Planting Plan is where we select and place plants on your site. This is shaped by your site conditions, climate, and the atmosphere you want to create, bringing together a thoughtful mix of plants to provide structure, rhythm, and seasonal change. It works alongside the built elements of your landscape to soften edges, define spaces, and build a layered, cohesive garden that settles into its surroundings over time. It can be developed as part of a broader Landscape Plan or as a standalone design to refresh or complete an existing space, and can be rolled out in stages to suit your budget.
The Process…
A Planting Plan starts with a site visit to assess conditions such as soil, light, and existing vegetation, while also discussing how you want the space to feel and function. From there, we prepare a brief, proposal, and project fee.
The design process moves into developing a planting approach, including overall structure, key species, and planting style. This is reviewed together and refined before the final Planting Plan is produced, detailing plant placement, selection, and quantities. The finished plan is presented in person, with a digital version supplied following any final refinements.
